COMMAND & COUNSEL
VETS Sacramento is led by a cohort of veteran entrepreneurs and community leaders dedicated to bridging the gap between military service and business mastery.
GUIDING THE MISSION

NAVY VETERAN
PRESIDENT & COFOUNDER
Tim is a Navy veteran who served for nearly a decade, deploying twice in dangerous environments. His military experience shaped his leadership, adaptability, and mission-focused approach. When he transitioned in 2019, he realized the sense of purpose and camaraderie he had in the military was missing. Since then, Tim has founded and exited multiple ventures, including a real estate investment company and a cybersecurity firm that he continues to operate, helping veterans build careers in tech.
He uses these experiences to lead the organization and mentor new veteran entrepreneurs in the Tribe.

ARMY VETERAN
VICE PRESIDENT & COFOUNDER
U.S. Army veteran Jon Foster is a community-driven leader and co-founder of the Veteran Entrepreneur Tribe of Sacramento, dedicated to providing veterans with genuine opportunity and connection. Drawing from his personal transition experience, Jon recognizes that mentorship and entrepreneurship are vital to building a meaningful post-military chapter. As Vice President of VETS, he spearheads the organization’s growth, programs, and partnerships to equip veterans with necessary tools and networking.
Jon is committed to unlocking the inherent grit and creativity of the veteran community, ensuring every member has the support system required to thrive as a leader and entrepreneur.

He has used this experience and knowledge to teach, empower, and lead local Sacramento veterans since 2013.

NAVY VETERAN
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Navy veteran and operations strategist Luisa is the "engine" that transforms vision into execution, specializing in building the systems and connections necessary for organizational success. Having personally navigated the civilian transition, she is driven by the belief that veterans need access and alignment rather than handouts to overcome isolation. As Operations Director for VETS, Luisa serves as the bridge between conversation and results, applying military discipline to everything from large-scale resource fairs to intimate community events.
She is committed to ensuring no veteran walks alone, leveraging her core philosophy that community is a strategy and leadership is service to provide the firm foundation veterans need to build their future.

DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS
Romi brings over a decade of experience in community programming and business development. He served on the board of the Sacramento Public Agency Consortium to assist veterans with government contracting. His background as a business development specialist for the California Asian Chamber of Commerce and the Minority Business Development Agency provided him with a firsthand look at the resource gaps facing veteran entrepreneurs.
Now, Romi focuses on providing hands-on guidance and accountability, actively recruiting organizations and partners to join the Tribe and ensure veteran-owned businesses have the specific support they need to thrive.
